75th anniversary gala evening

On Saturday, 29 July 2006 the JHC formally celebrated 75 years of hiking with a fabulous evening at the Pavilion, Marks Park. The cabaret involved several JHC members and was outstanding. Members dressed up in their finery and were wined and dined in an atmosphere of outdoors yet in formal circumstances. Dancing continued until the early hours of Sunday morning.
