Jumble of rocks at ...

Castle Gorge

The following pictures have been submitted by Brian Gordon-Brown with his comments.

“Here are a few pics from the midweek hike at Castle Gorge on Wednesday, 29 August.  Only a few, as there were no flowers to see, and I have sent several pics from this venue before.  I really enjoyed yesterday.  We turned left up the mountain, having reached the neck and wandered around in really very rocky terrain.  A jumble of rocks perhaps describes it.  The pics of us getting there and on top illustrate what I mean.  It was a super day, a cool wind, clear skies and a small group of very chatty hikers  not in a hurry. It came out during our walk that most of us were knocking on the door of our late sixties early seventies.  We were all at one in that we were very fortunate to still be physically able to enjoy outings such as these.

The attached pics give a slightly different view of the area. I hope you like them.”
