Kuthaba is situated 16km outside Nylstroom along the Driefontein road in the Waterberg, where, thanks to the owners, guests have comfort and can enjoy a relaxing stay.  This is an ideal venue for the whole family to relax and those who wish to hike, the routes are relatively easy.

There are 10 bungalows sleeping 26 people but additional space is available in a restored farmhouse.  There is an inviting bar area and the kitchen  is well equipped with fridges and adequate work tops  to prepare meals.

There are two trails: 

A 12km circular route which starts from the camp and winds its way along a river bank , with typical Waterberg landscape.  The flora and fauna are diverse:  typical bushveld with a possibility of some game sightings.  The trail winds through undulating hills, passed streams and beautiful waterfalls and when the hiker is almost back to camp, amazing tree specimens can be admired.

Spend the evening around the camp fire discussing the day’s acitivites.

The 5kms hike is a short walk which traverses the mountainous area near the camp, offering magnificent vistas over the previous day’s hike.  The highlight of this hike is the chain ladder, or alternatively a different route for those with vertigo.
