The hike meanders up the side of the mountain to White Rock, a fine viewing spot of the Hartbeespoort Dam below.

 

Not much further along the trail, one comes across evidence of rock fortifications from the Anglo-Boer War.

 

From the top of the mountain, Moepel Kloof runs down to meet Forest Stream Kloof.

 

Your companions on any hike will be the farm dogs, Wolfie and Pauli – they stick with you and are wonderful company.  All the reward they ask for is a little water.

A pleasant relaxing area, complete with pool on your return!
