Castle Gorge

A favourite.  Once you’ve made it to the saddle head off and explore. The rock formations will amaze you if you just use your imagination – chess pieces, dogs, seals. Relax by the pools or the magnificent water fall for lunch, swim, then head back to the car park.

Kosi Bay

One of the last unspoilt places in South Africa. Plenty of snorkeling for those interested in the aquatic life, and much more besides;

Wonderful 2 day trail, close to home. Wander through grasslands, woodlands, excellent game viewing and birding opportunities. Easy hiking with good overnight facilities.

A relatively easy walk to the kloofs with running water. Hike to the edge of the mountain for a superb view. To finish a fine days hike there is a braai..

Walk through grasslands, kloofs and woodlands and get wonderful views of Hartbeespoort Dam.
