Paul and Shirley Menge lead the snow hike in the Witsieshoek area of the Drakensburg early in September 2005.  It was hoped that the mountains would be decked with the last snow of the season but alas, mother nature had other ideas.  Despite this fact, the JHC group of hikers had a fantastic weekend. Clear blue skies, fantastic scenery and a good group of hikers.
