This exciting new Sunday venue was introduced in July 2005 and will be a great success with hikers.

Situated between Chicken Run and Vergenoeg, Remhoogte has a steep hike to the escarpment with wonderful views of the Magaliesberg.

Remhoogte is located near Hartbeespoort Dam on the south side of the Magaliesberg mountain.

The hike starts with a long gentle walk through the grass and trees to the bottom of the mountain; the ascent of the mountain is through a steep and picturesque kloof.

Once on top, the hiking is gentle with several kloofs to visit, including Moepel Kloof and Forest Stream Kloof; for those who would like a more demanding hike there’s Hidden Kloof to visit.
